Meet Jacob!

Hello! My name is Jacob Bonilla, and I’m the current Intern here at TXMT. I have been playing my primary instrument, the clarinet, for about 12 years. I am from Pasadena in Houston, TX and currently live in Alvin. I studied music therapy at Sam Houston State in Huntsville, TX. So far my clinical experience has been inside a music therapy clinic, virtually (telehealth), and in memory care. In my free time I enjoy watching movies, going fishing, and spending time with my family. I am so excited to learn more about music therapy and to become a music therapist!

During his internship, Jacob will be working on various projects. Those projects will be linked down below Any product made by Jacob purchased from the TXMT online store will go directly to funding his board certification exam and other internship related expenses.
