Funding Options

Private Pay

Texas Music Therapy Services accepts payment via all major credit and debit cards as well as Apple Pay and checks. We offer need-based financial assistance to private pay clients through a sliding fee scale program that’s based on the verified income of clients in households that earn less than $120,000 per year. To view or complete our sliding fee program application, please click on the button below:

HSA and FSA

Music therapy is often considered a qualifying medical expense for Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs), and we accept direct payment from HSAs and FSAs via debit or credit card. You may also seek reimbursement from your HSA or FSA after paying out of pocket for our services. Please note that it is ultimately up to your specific HSA or FSA provider to approve payment or reimbursement for our services.

Insurance

We are an out-of-network provider, and we do not bill insurance directly. If you wish to receive health insurance reimbursement for our services, we are happy to provide supporting documentation so you can file a claim with your insurance company. It’s important that you read and understand your health insurance policy and its requirements for coverage, as our services are not always a covered benefit in all health plans.
